Nigeria And Argentina Friendly Match Under ISIS Threat

Islamic
State in Iran and Syria (ISIS) has sent a second threat as national
football teams around the world prepare for the 2018 World Cup in
Russia.
The international
friendly between Nigeria and Argentina scheduled for November 14th is
under severe security threat as officials of the Argentine Football
Association has demanded for special security for star player Lionel
Messi and other members of the national team.

President of
the Argentine Football Association Claudio Tapia on Thursday met the
Russian ambassador to his country Victor Koronelli to discuss the threat
posed by Islamic State, after the terror group posted a picture of
Lionel Messi in prison.

Isis published a mockedup image of
Messi in a prison jumpsuit, with blood coming from his eye. The group
also published an image alluding to next year’s football World Cup in
Russia, warning those who visit Russia that they will face attacks.
