Ronaldo receives a Red Card in his debut Champions League appearance for Juventus

Sensational football player, Cristiano Ronaldo, was sent off the pitch in his first Champions League appearance for Juventus after an apparent clash with Jeison Murillo. This means the star will miss a return to Old Trafford.

Just 29 minutes into the Champions League Group H opener against Valencia, Ronaldo appeared to make contact with Murillo’s head, away from the ball.

The red card was shown for the incident, leaving Ronaldo visibily distraught as he was sent for an early shower. He could not help but shed tears as he left the game.

As a result of this, Ronaldo will miss the next two games, Juventus’ home date against Young Boysand and their trip to Old Trafford to face his former club, Manchester United. This indeed is a tragedy for the superstar.
