Breaking: Ex-President Shehu Shagari is dead!

Nigeria’s first executive President, Shehu Shagari has been confirmed dead.

Shagari passed away at the National Hospital Abuja on Friday. He was 93 years old.

Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, broke the news on his Twitter handle. He tweeted:
