SV Top 10 Nigeria’s Songs of 2018

The year, 2018, has been a wonderful year in the musical industry. Several hit songs have been released as a result of artists hardwork and creativity, to keep the dancing spirit on. Amidst these numerous songs are 10, which we handpicked to be at the top. Check them out below:
10. Science student – Olamide
YBNL’s boss, Olamide, released this shaku shaku dance inspired song at the beginning of the year and it really shook the streets, especially after the release of its unique video.
9. Amaka – Tubaba ft Peruzzi
Nigeria’s musical living legend, Tubaba, came up with this good pop music he titled “Amaka”. On this track, he features DMW’s sensational artist, Peruzzi. With the duo on this track, one should definitely expect nothing of low quality.
8. Legbegbe – Mr Real
This song in particular got the whole Nigeria dancing. Mr Real cooked the “legbegbe” song in a way that made it easy to do the trending shaku shaku dance and it got the interest of many listeners.
7. Wait – Dj Spinall ft Kizz Daniel
One of Nigeria’s finest Disk Jockey, DJ Spinall, teamed up with one of Nigeria’s finest singers, Kizz Daniel, to make this wonderful hit song, “Wait”. This song has created an unforgettable dancing spirit in several parties and events in the year, 2018.
6. Motigbana – Olamide
Olamide, just as he is known for greatness, got Nigeria’s attention with this beautiful one he titled “Motigbana”. We can’t move into a New Year without mentioning this one in 2018.
5. Fever – Wizkid
The video of this song which featured the presence of Nigerian music queen, Tiwa savage, made this song one of the few most talked about songs of 2018. Wizkid surely has a way of getting the people’s attention through controversies.
4. Ye – Burna boy
Since he started a few years back, Burna boy had worked so hard with focus to prove his uniqueness to his fans and this has surely paid off. With the level of love for his song “Ye” by listeners all around the globe, this list cannot be complete without it
3. Able God – Chinko Ekun ft Lil Kesh & Zlatan
Sensational rapper, Chinko Ekun, decided to cook something with his two brothers, Lil Kesh and Zlatan and it was indeed a banger. The Zanku dance which was the major dance used in the video made the whole combo spectacular.
2. Wetin We Gain – Victor AD
New comer, Victor AD, made a little prayer of success through music, and he was blessed by the god of music. “Wetin We Gain” stands as one the songs that dominated the musical industry in the year, 2018.
1. Aiye – Barry Jhay
Another new comer in the Nigerian Music Industry, Barry Jhay, cooked this lovely song he titled “Aiye” and it has been on everybody’s lips since its release.
