“Africa Must Matter For Black Lives To Matter” – Burna Boy Says As He Wins BET Award (Video)

Nigerian superstar, Burna Boy has shown for the second time in a row that he is truly African Giant as he bags BET ‘Best International Act’ again.

Reacting to his new status as the winner of the prestigious award, he emphasised on how black lives matter and how Africa matters most importantly.

Burna Boy beats the likes of Sho Madjozi, Santan Dave, and Stormzy to win the award for the second time after his first win in 2019.

In a video shared on BET, Burna Boy thanked his fans and organizers for their love. He said:

“Thank you, BET, and everyone for winning this the second time.

“I will like to use this opportunity to say sometime around 1835, there was a mission to turn Africa to a dominated nation but now is the time to go back to the royalty we were.

“Because in order for Black lives to matter, Africa must matter.”
