The Board of Directors of Jabi Lake Mall, the venue where Naira Marley had his recent concert in Abuja, has issued a statement in regards to the situation.

The whole drama started when Naira Marley and Big Brother’s KimOprah hosted a show at the Jabi Lake Mall Car Park with so many people in attendance.

The event caused public outrage, because Nigeria is still on lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

After this outing, the Federal Government, in response to this, banned ExecuJet for flying the celebrities and also shut down the Jabi Lake Mall.

As a result of this, the Mall has released a new statement, issued by the board of directors where it denied authorizing the concert. Accoring to the letter, an employee took the illegal decision to host the event on the property without informing superiors and shareholder s only got to know about it via social media.I
