BREAKING!!! Obaseki resigns from APC

The incumbent governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki has officially resigned from the ruling party; All Progressives Congress.

The governor renounced his membership of the APC after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari today at the presidential villa in Abuja.

This is following after he was disqualified from the APC primary elections to hold on June 22nd, 2020 for the forthcoming Edo state gubernatorial polls by the party’s screening committee due to a defective certificate.
