BREAKING: Naira Marley Dragged To Court In Ikeja Again

Controversial Nigerian artiste, Azeez Fashola, known popularly as Naira Marley, has been dragged to the Lagos State Special Offences Court in Ikeja.

Several weeks back, the artiste left Lagos for a concert in Abuja on Saturday, July 13, 2020, the concert which was held at the Jabi Lake Mall.

The concert got the attention of a lot of Nigerians, who condemned him for doing such during a time when everyone was asked to mandatorily sit at home to avoid the spread of the deadly Corona Virus.

Following the development, the government shut down the mall and equally stopped the operation of the airline whose plane he chartered.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, on Thursday, told newsmen in Lagos that the police had filed charges against Marley for violating the COVID-19 order banning interstate travels earlier put in place to curb the spread of coronavirus.

He said:

“Naira Marley presented himself at the command headquarters on Thursday.

”We are in court as we speak. He will be arraigned for violating the interstate travel order.
