215,149 candidates SSCE results withheld- WAEC

On Monday the West African Examination Council announced that Over 215,149 Candidates who sat for the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination in Nigeria result has been withheld.

According to the Council “the results of the candidates representing 13.98% of the total number of candidates who wrote the examination are being withheld in connection with various reported cases of examination malpractice.

While announcing the official release of the results of this year’s WASSCE. The Head of WAEC Nigeria, Patrick Areghan, made this known at a briefing in Lagos

He said, “The cases are being investigated and reports of the investigations will be presented to the appropriate Committee of the Council for determination in due course.
