It Is Untrue That African Fans Don’t Pay For Music – Mr Eazi
Nigerian singer and songwriter, Mr Eazi, has spoken against popular saying that African fans don’t spend a lot on music consumption.
It is believed widely that African fans don’t create revenue for artists because of so many illegal streaming platforms.

The “Empawa” boss took to his Twitter page on Wednesday to write that the system needs to change. The music entrepreneur is looking at a means whereby fans can get returns for their patronage.
His words below:
“African Fans Don’t Pay For Music” This is False! M.O.F Our fans spend roughly up to 25cents a Month on music consumption! Stake holders just have to ensure that a warm % of The Revenue is redirected to the creatives!! We need to discuss this and effect change soon. #Africa”
