Omah Lay And Tems Finally Arrive Nigeria After Being Released In Uganda

Nigerian artists, Omah Lay and Tems have finally arrived Nigeria from Uganda, days after their arrest and release.

According to Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay and Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems arrived today at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport at about 12:35 pm.

Dabiri-Erewa took to her Twitter account to announce the arrival of both artists.

“Stanley Omah Didia (@Omah_Lay), Temilade Openiyi (@temsbaby), Muyiwa Ayoniyi and others just landed at the MMIA Lagos from Uganda via Ethiopia Airline at about 12:35 pm local time. We are glad they are finally home,” she tweeted.

Recall that both singers were arrested in Uganda for flouting COVID-19 rules after their performances at The Big Brunch, which held at Speke Resort, Wavamunno Rd, Kampala, Uganda.
