Ed Woodward Resigns As Manchester United Chairman

Manchester United Vice-Chairman, Ed Woodward, has resigned from his position at Old Trafford.

The 49-year-old former banker replaced CEO David Gill as chairman of the Red Devils back in 2013 and has faced enormous criticism during his reign at Old Trafford, having failed to win the Premier League in that time.
But he will not depart until the end of 2021.

United sources refused to confirm Woodward’s departure as it was ‘market sensitive’. The club insists Woodward was always due to leave at the end of the calendar year and have only decided to bring the announcement forward.

From news gathered, he will not fully depart until the end of the year.
