Kanye Reportedly Pushed For Divorce, Not Kim

The news of American celebrity couple, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, getting a divorce has been making the rounds recently.

But, contrary to popular opinion that Kim was the one wanting the divorce, a source close to the rapper claims it was actually Kanye’s idea.

According to the source:

“he is ‘super annoyed’ that the story is being constantly presented as her divorcing him, “when actually he asked for a divorce a year ago.”

“It was him saying for a year that they have nothing in common except the kids and he wanted out. She pulled all the stops to try to save the marriage.”

Kanye spoke about the development saying,

“I’ve been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Waldorf for ‘prison reform’. Meek is my man and was respectful … That’s my dog, Kim was out of line,” .

Kanye, who reportedly let Kim first file for a divorce “in order to give her dignity”, had made mention of a possible divorce on his Twitter in July 2020, but it was Kim who eventually filed for the divorce early this year.
