Bill And Melinda Gates Announce Divorce After 27 Years

Billionaire couple, Bill and Melinda Gates, have confirmed they are going their separate ways after 27 years of marriage.

The couple, who have, over the years, built a $127billion fortune, shocked the world as 65-year-old Bill posted a tweet to make the announcement of their intention to divorce.

The Microsoft founder said after a great deal of thought and a lot of work, “we have made the decision to end our marriage”.

His statement reads;

“We continue to share a belief in that mission and will continue to work together at the foundation, but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in this next phase of our lives.
