Grammy-Award-winning Afrobeat star, Oluwadamini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy has become won the BET Award for the third (3rd) time.

The superstar has once again become the winner of the BET 2021 “Best International Act” category.

For 3 consecutive years, Burna Boy has held down the category ahead of his counterparts in the music industry.

This year, he was nominated alongside his friend and colleague in the music industry, Wizkid and Nigerian’s have wondered who would emerge the winner, but with this win, he beats Wizkid once again.

Recall that just a couple of months ago, Burna Boy brought home a Grammy Award, after his Music album, “Twice As Tall” won the “Best Global Music Album” category.

He has proven to his fans over the years that he is truly the Odogwu of the music industry and in fact, the African Giant he claims to be.

The BET Award is one of the most prestigious in history, and this year’s ceremony is a special event with the theme Year of the Black Woman, intended to highlight the amazing accomplishments of Black women in showbiz, sports, and beyond.

The show, which was hosted by actress, Taraji P. Henson was graced by big stars of the entertainment industry, both home and abroad.
