NBA Star, Giannis Antetokounmpo Visits Nigeria For The First Time

Giannis Antetokounmpo, a two-time NBA MVP and member of the Milwaukee Bucks stormed Lagos, Nigeria, for the first time in his life.

On Friday, July 28, 2023, the NBA player was observed in Lagos’ Yaba neighborhood working to advance the sport. Basketball prospect Giannis Antetokounmpo was seen conversing with them. In Yaba, Lagos State, Nigeria, at Rowe Park, he also confronted them there.

According to sources, Giannis took part in court activities with the kids while he was in Nigeria for the Youth Alive Basketball Championship.

Antetokounmpo has always been proud of his Nigerian roots, frequently announcing his name to the press and media in the USA as “Adetokunbo.”
