Banky W Reacts As National Assembly Is Given N27 Billion For Renovation

Nigerian long-term singer, Banky W has taken to his social media page to react as Federal government allocates N27 billion for building renovation in the revised budget.

Banky W, who was unhappy with the news stated he sees no reason why the government is spending N27 billion naira on building renovation while most Nigerians are still struggling to afford every basic amenities.

Recall that the Federal government had cut down the country’s budget following the global fall in oil price caused by the spread of deadly coronavirus.

While the Federal government slashed Universal Basic education budget and Primary health care budget almost by half, one would be expecting that the renovation budget be drastically cut down.

The budget, however, was only brought down to N27 billion from N37 billion.

On his Twitter page, the singer wrote:
