Larkim’s Biography And All You Need To Know About Him

Fast rising musical artiste, Oyeneye Akeem, popularly known as Larkim, has been in the music industry for couple of years, getting better at his craft every day.

He grew up in between the ghetto and the semi tush lifestyle which is reflected in his music.

He is currently studying music in the University of Lagos to enhance his music making skill and push him farther than his peers in the industry.

According to Larkim, his music has been influenced greatly by the environment he found himself and also his personal journey towards spiritual growth.

He believes strongly that his music his my truth which is a reflection of his life and experiences growing up.

When it comes to his style of music, Larkim referred to it as Afro-life, “Afro” with a blend of my experiences, passion, melody and life itself.

In his words, “My sound is my truth, your truth and the truth”.

With the support of his family and friends, he hosted his first concert in the first quarter of 2022 for true lovers of good music, the Broke Boy Concert, an event that leaves a lasting memory of melodies in the hearts of those who attended. This was indeed a bold step in his musical career.

In addition to his milestones, Larkim was among the few artists that broke the world record of longest recording marathon, one that involved recording for 44 hours 19mins.

In a recent interview with a correspondent from SOFOVILLA, he said:

“In the past weeks I have been in a place of solitude trying to get my head straight to write tracks for you to guide you on the path of life and tell you how I have been fairing.
